Dell forum in Dublin to tackle AI scaling challenge

Dell Technologies will hold its Dell Technologies Forum in Dublin, focusing on how organisations are scaling AI and modernising infrastructure.
The event, due to take place at the Convention Centre Dublin, will bring together business and technology leaders.
The agenda will centre on the practical issues organisations face as AI moves from trial projects to broader deployment. Discussions are expected to cover the systems, data and governance needed to support AI at greater scale across business operations.
Attendees will hear from Dell executives and specialists, watch live demonstrations, and meet other customers and partners. Intel, Microsoft and NVIDIA are collaborating on the event.
AI spending
The event comes as AI spending continues to outpace wider technology budgets across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Dell cited IDC forecasts that AI spending in the region will reach USD $319 billion in 2026, up 19.2% year on year and growing at more than three times the rate of total IT spending.
That backdrop is shaping technology choices in Ireland as companies review how to update operations, improve productivity and prepare for heavier digital workloads. The forum will examine how modern infrastructure, intelligent devices, data-ready architecture and AI expertise fit into that process.
Several themes are set to run through the discussions, including how to scale AI securely and responsibly, simplify infrastructure while supporting data-intensive workloads, and approach what Dell describes as sovereign AI and trusted data.
Other topics include AI-ready workplaces and intelligent devices, as well as cyber resilience across infrastructure, devices and AI environments. These issues are becoming more prominent as businesses face tighter scrutiny over privacy, governance and compliance.
Local focus
Dell has framed the Dublin gathering around the choices businesses in Ireland are making as AI becomes a larger part of technology strategy. Organisations now need to address infrastructure, workplace and security decisions if they want digital transformation programmes to move beyond early-stage adoption.
The speaker line-up will also include Pico Lopes, captain of Shamrock Rovers and Cape Verde football international. He will discuss performance on and off the pitch.
